When God Sows Peace Where We Saw Only Storms
Refleon
The
peace that grows in impossible ground
There are moments when
the heart feels like a devastated field: emotions in turmoil, scattered
thoughts, fears piling up like heavy clouds. We begin to believe-almost without
noticing-that nothing good can grow there. Yet it is precisely in those places-the
driest, the most fragile-that God chooses to sow inner peace.
God’s peace is not the
absence of struggle; it is the presence of meaning. It is not exterior silence;
it is interior serenity. It is not escape; it is steadiness. He enters where no
one else enters, touches what no one else can touch, and transforms what we
believed to be irreversible. The peace He sows does not depend on circumstances
but on His faithfulness.
When God sows peace, He
does not do it noisily. He acts like a farmer who knows the soil, respects the
seasons, and trusts the process. Some seeds sprout quickly; others require
patience. But all of them, without exception, carry the promise of new life.
Inspiration
The
peace that grows as we walk
God’s peace is not a
destination; it is a path. It grows as we move forward, even when we move
slowly. It grows as we breathe deeply, as we release what weighs us down, as we
trust what we cannot yet see.
Perhaps today your
heart feels tired, restless, or even discouraged. But God continues to sow. He
does not give up on the soil that is yours. He does not abandon the work He
began. He never tires of renewing you.
Allow Him to plant
peace where you see only storms. Allow Him to transform what unsettles you into
strength, what frightens you into courage, what paralyses you into hope. God’s
peace is not small: it is deep, solid, radiant. And it is growing within you—even
now.
Prayer
Lord,
sow peace in my heart
Lord, today I give You
my storms, my doubts, and my fears. Sow peace where my heart is restless. Sow
light where I still see shadows. Sow hope where I feel fragile.
May Your peace grow in
me like good seed, transforming the soil and renewing life. May I learn to walk
in trust, even when I cannot yet see the fruit.
Thank You, Lord,
because You never stop sowing. Amen.
