The Courage to Begin Again

Reflection

There are days when the heart seems to walk more slowly, as if carrying an invisible weight. Life, with its unpredictable rhythm, places us before unexpected pauses, silent losses, doubts that settle in without asking permission. Yet it is precisely in those moments that the courage to begin again reveals itself as a gift - not an impulsive gesture, but a serene, mature, and deeply human choice.

To begin again does not mean erasing what has been lived. On the contrary: it means integrating the experience, recognising the wounds, giving thanks for the lessons, and allowing a new stage to blossom. Each dawn is a discreet, almost timid invitation for us to rise with more truth, more humility, and more confidence.

Lord, on this day You offer me, I thank You for the opportunity to begin again. Give me the courage to leave behind what no longer serves, what weighs me down, what holds me back. Illuminate my thoughts, strengthen my heart, and guide my steps. May I recognise Your presence in the simple details, and may each of my gestures be a seed of peace, hope, and truth.
