For restless hearts and minds in
transition Between burden and promise
On this 27th of November, as the calendar approaches its
final breath of the year, we are invited to pause-not to escape, but to
reconnect. The world spins in haste, commitments pile up like dry leaves at the
door, and fatigue disguises itself as productivity. Yet a gentle voice insists:
“Not everything that is urgent is essential.”
Today, allow yourself to listen to that voice.
Stress, when constant, masks itself as virtue. It promises
focus, delivery, and achievement. But like a silent addiction, it steals the
sparkle from the eyes and the lightness from gestures. The soul was not made to
live in a permanent state of alert. There is wisdom in knowing how to stop, and
courage in saying “enough for today.”
Breathing is an act of faith. Faith that time does not
abandon us, faith that silence also builds. May this day be an invitation to
reconnect with what is simple: a coffee sipped with attention, a word spoken
with tenderness, a gaze that rests upon the sky without haste.
Be gentle with yourself. The journey is long, but it need
not be barren. There is beauty in every step, even in those that seem
uncertain. And there is strength in recognising that rest is also part of the
path.
Today, choose the peace that does not shout, but sustains.
Choose the rhythm that does not rush, but reveals.
Choose to remain
whole, even when the world asks for fragments.
